2015 was a hell of a season. The Redskins struggled early in the year but as things started to fall into place, the team exceled and took the division for the second time in four years.
Myself and the digital / social team got togehter and tried to plan the best way to promote the playoffs and get the fans pumped. We have felt that with our facilites in Virginia and our stadium in Maryland, we wanted to remind people we are the team that represents the Nation's Capital in the NFL. We got in contact with the other professional teams around the area and wanted to cross-promote with them. We then figured we would reach out to our high profile fans and the colleges / universities in the area. Reaction was great with our fans and the other brands. Enjoy.
